To lead inclusively...
Seeing my story as one of many
To lead inclusively, we de-center ourselves.
We de-center ourselves while taking complete responsibility for ourselves.
We take responsibility for ourselves without drowning in the discomfort.
We do not drown, nor do we try to save anyone else.
We do not save anyone, so we can make space for everyone.
In making space for everyone, we find peace within ourselves.
When you find yourself in a challenging moment, say these words to yourself:
“I am not the hero of this story. I am not the victim of this story.”
And then notice:
What happens to how you show up in that moment?
How do your relationships re-orient?
How does the situation shift?
